Henrique and Maria: A Brazilian Engagement

Henrique and Maria are from Brazil. While they were on a visit to LA, ColorBlast Weddings had the pleasure of partnering with them for their engagement photography session.

A Walk around the City

We get a number of couples that have their engagement session in California, with a destination wedding somewhere else. Henrique and Maria wanted an urban engagement photo session in Los Angeles. We did a walk on Melrose Avenue, one of LA’s most famous streets, featuring a myriad of shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, and the coastal city of Santa Monica. We explored the beaches and canals of Venice canals and beach and took some fun photos in West Hollywood. There is so much texture and color in LA, which provided a great backdrop for the happy couple.

Beauty is Everywhere

We started the day off with casual attire. The couple’s vibe was super chill, which made it feel like we were just hanging out with old friends. As the day progressed, Henrique and Maria made a few different clothing choices which stood out beautifully against the various backdrops.

A Photographer’s Dream

Henrique and Maria really are a sweet couple, and they snuggled and giggled with each other throughout the entire shoot. We hardly had to pose them to get such amazing photos! This couple is a photographer’s dream. You can see just how much they love each other in every photo.

We were so fortunate that the weather was beautiful for the entire shoot. We explored some favorite spots in downtown Los Angeles before finishing up at the beach.

The couple felt blessed to have ColorBlast Weddings as their photographer in the beautiful city of LA. We, in turn, made some great friends and took some amazing photographs that they will cherish forever.
